Today, we’re going to discuss a patient’s experience with the “Point V Chin Tip Correction” procedure.

The “Point V Chin Tip Correction” is a procedure that uses a semi-permanent special thread to reshape a wide, bland, and blunt chin into a slim and attractive shape, all without a recovery period.

Let’s start by examining the patient’s pre-procedure photos.

In this patient’s case, she had a face with an overall lack of volume, a wide and blunt chin tip, saggy under eyes, and previously received lip filler treatment. However, she was unhappy with her unnatural and unattractive lips and sought our help to improve them.

After consulting with us, she decided to correct her under eyes and lips through filler treatment. As it’s challenging to satisfactorily correct the chin tip through filler treatment, she opted for the “Point V Chin Tip Correction” procedure to reduce the width of the chin tip and make it look slimmer.

Now, let’s look at the photo with the areas that need correction marked.

Red arrow area – Lips that look twisted and asymmetrical, lack volume, and are unattractive due to the outer edges curling in

Blue arrow area – The bland and blunt central part of the chin tip that lacks volume

Yellow arrow area – The wide and asymmetrical edges of the chin tip that need to be narrowed

Now, let’s look at the post-procedure photos.

Here’s how she looks 2 weeks after the procedure. The saggy under eyes have been naturally and smoothly corrected, and the unnatural lips that lacked volume and looked twisted and asymmetrical have been improved to look voluminous, smooth, and balanced.

Also, the wide and angular chin tip that looked asymmetrical has been slimmed down and improved to a balanced and smooth V-line.

The patient was initially considering bone shaving surgery to improve her chin shape, but she was very satisfied and amazed that it improved smoothly with a simple procedure that caused almost no bruising or swelling.

Now, let’s compare the patient’s pre and post-procedure photos side by side.

In this patient’s case, she has a wide and angular chin bone. If you get a filler procedure to improve the tip of your chin, the center of the chin tip may look sharper than before, but the chin can easily become longer and give a shovel chin feeling.

The patient also had such an experience through previous filler procedures, and was considering bone surgery, but was unable to make a decision easily due to concerns about recovery time and side effects, and came to our clinic after learning about our ‘Point V Chin Tip Correction’ procedure.

As demonstrated by this patient’s case, the “Point V Chin Tip Correction” procedure is designed to directly narrow a wide chin area, prevent the chin from elongating, and reshape it into a more slender form.

Unlike fillers, which require repeated treatments, this procedure offers the benefit of semi-permanent results.

However, it’s important to note that this procedure does not reduce the size of the bone itself. Therefore, its effectiveness may be limited for those with excessively wide or large bones. It is crucial to make an informed decision after thorough consultation.

That concludes our discussion on the “Point V Chin Tip Correction” procedure. Thank you.
