Our under-eye fat removal, unlike other under eye treatments that require an incision in the dermis below the eye, involves making a small, hidden incision in the conjunctiva (the thin mucous membrane inside the eyelid) of the lower eyelid and removing the fat, before stitching the incision closed with dissolvable thread. Then, depending on the desired results and your personal treatment plan, fillers will be applied to necessary areas in order to add volume and smooth the contours around the eye, resulting in a bright and youthful expression.

Why and When Is Filler Needed After Under-Eye Fat Removal?
Under-eye dark circles are not simply caused by fat protrusion. In many cases, fat protrusion coexists with volume loss in the surrounding tissues. In the case of volume loss, removing fat alone may reduce the protrusion, but the under-eye area may appear even more sunken, or the boundary may become more pronounced, resulting in a tired or aged appearance.
If hollowness, unevenness, or shadowing remains under the eyes after fat removal, filler can be applied to create a more natural under-eye contour.
