Precautions After Eyebrow Thread Lift

Please review the following information to support a stable recovery and natural-looking results.

I. Aftercare Guidelines

  • Swelling and bruising may continue to increase until about 3 days after the procedure.
  • Swelling may extend to the upper eyelids and bridge of the nose.
  • Use cold compresses as needed starting immediately after the procedure.
  • Apply them to the upper eyelids, brows, and forehead area.
  • If you have pain, you may take additional pain medication as needed.
  • For 3 to 5 days, please sleep on your back with your head slightly elevated.
  • For 2 to 3 weeks, please avoid saunas and public baths.
  • For 4 weeks, please avoid facial massage and cosmetic procedures.

II. Changes That May Occur During Recovery

  • The area beneath the brows may temporarily look pinched, but this usually improves naturally within 2 to 3 weeks.
  • The final shape can usually be assessed more accurately after the swelling and bruising have subsided, which is typically around 2 weeks.

III. Results and Duration

  • If your muscle movement is strong, the duration of the results may be shorter.
  • Combining the treatment with forehead and glabellar Botox may help maintain the lifting effect.

IV. When to Consult Your Medical Provider

  • If pain or swelling gradually becomes worse
  • If unusual symptoms persist or worsen
  • If you experience any of the above symptoms, please contact our clinic and visit for an evaluation.
